Artist Statement
I'm a coder artist based in Bridport, Dorset UK.
As a coder artist, I navigate the intersection of technology and creativity, where lines of code transform into visual and interactive experiences. My work explores the fluidity between the digital and physical realms, inviting viewers to engage with art in innovative ways. Each piece is a dialogue between algorithm and aesthetics, where programming languages serve as my brush and canvas.
In my practice, I harness the potential of code to create dynamic installations, generative art, and interactive experiences that challenge traditional notions of authorship and viewer engagement. I am fascinated by the idea that the act of creation can be both a logical process and an emotional journey, where the unpredictability of code introduces an element of surprise and spontaneity.
Through my work, I aim to provoke thought about the role of technology in our lives and how it shapes our perceptions of art. I invite the audience to not only observe but to participate, blurring the lines between creator and spectator. My art is a celebration of the endless possibilities that arise when creativity meets technology, and I strive to inspire others to explore this evolving landscape.
